The Wanted embrace early country music, blues, bluegrass, and rockabilly in a style that is at once distinctive and recognizable. Combining harmony singing, original material and a fresh take on older classics, The Wanted creates a sound that is transformational – old time gospel harmonies meets unplugged vintage rock ‘n roll. Their self-titled CD is on sale at CD baby and has received airplay on roots country radio including CBC Radio 1, CIUT’s Acoustic Workshop and other Canadian roots radio programs. AltCountryForum.nl calls the new CD is: “A fine work full of contagious, hip swaying, raucous music.”
